Dunoon Spray Park
About
Built at a cost of R2 million and opened in December 2015, Dunoon Spray Park is an innovative recreational facility and consists of spray features that create a water-wise play environment for children. Spray Parks are safe and fun places to cool off in the summer months and are designed to cater for a range of different age groups, from toddlers to teens.
The parks use minimal non-drinking water and are designed to get the whole family active. Opening hours depend on demand. The ability to turn Spray Parks on and off also means they are water-wise. Spray Parks form part of the City’s holiday programmes aimed at keeping children healthy and active over the long summer holidays. There are also shaded areas overlooking the spray area where parents can relax and enjoy watching their children at play.
